Hello Sir, How are you?<\/em><\/p>\n

I hope you are fine.<\/em><\/p>\n

It\u2019s been a long time since we last met.<\/em><\/p>\n

Well, I guess the fault was mine.<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

You see, I\u2019m so very busy these days,<\/em><\/p>\n

Not a moment to spare.<\/em><\/p>\n

Was only last week I plucked from my head,<\/em><\/p>\n

twelve strands of grey hair!<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Life is harsh, harsh my dear Sir,<\/em><\/p>\n

Harsh as harsh can be,<\/em><\/p>\n

Let me explain what I mean to say,<\/em><\/p>\n

and for yourself you will see.<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I\u2019m quite a poor man, as you already know,<\/em><\/p>\n

Not much in my purse,<\/em><\/p>\n

Six children and a basset hound,<\/em><\/p>\n

makes matters much, much worse.<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Things were fine, till early last month,<\/em><\/p>\n

when my career hit a bump,<\/em><\/p>\n

Nothing much, I just lost my job,<\/em><\/p>\n

Guess it was the slump.<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I tried my luck at a private firm,<\/em><\/p>\n

They said I was too slow.<\/em><\/p>\n

They don\u2019t realize that with people like me,<\/em><\/p>\n

their profits are bound to grow!<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I have the brains, the brains my dear Sir,<\/em><\/p>\n

the brains to make things work,<\/em><\/p>\n

So when they said that I was too slow,<\/em><\/p>\n

I just couldn\u2019t help but smirk!<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

To top it off, the mutt fell ill,<\/em><\/p>\n

a horrible running nose,<\/em><\/p>\n

With doggy snort all over the place,<\/em><\/p>\n

We had to walk on our toes!<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

But now he is fine! We\u2019ve killed them all,<\/em><\/p>\n

The germs in the nose that lurk,<\/em><\/p>\n

Four and a half days of mashed potatoes,<\/em><\/p>\n

seemed to have done the work.<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As for my house, that\u2019s another pain,<\/em><\/p>\n

and a rather boring tale,<\/em><\/p>\n

My landlord, without letting me know,<\/em><\/p>\n

put it up for sale!<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

He said that I hadn\u2019t paid my dues,<\/em><\/p>\n

that I hadn\u2019t cleared his rent,<\/em><\/p>\n

Six little brats and a four legged beast,<\/em><\/p>\n

We\u2019re stuck up in a makeshift tent.<\/em><\/p>\n

So you can see how busy I am,<\/em><\/p>\n

As busy as a man can be,<\/em><\/p>\n

But Sir, I do have an hour at hand,<\/em><\/p>\n

How about a cup of tea?<\/em><\/p>\n
